For some time I walked the exact same routes to go to my studio, to go shopping, to go swimming, and even when I would walk to think.  Even though it made up the entirely of my life, the soil under my feet represented only a small fraction of the city I lived. Island is a representation of that idea showing the space that I used everyday.
