Water Cabinet 1995
maple, lead, copper100 (145) x 20 x 20 cm 3’3”(4’8”) x 7,9” x 7.9”
My first large watercabinet. I discovered that lead is great for modeling and that it adds something to the sober structure of the cabinet. To open the cabinet one fill the lead watering can with water and pour it into the lead ornaments. The water flows into a small mechanical structure with a floating ball. The ball rises and unlocks the cabinet. The inner core rises and reveals the cabinet.
